Lucas Springsteen

I am Lucas Springsteen, and I’m a dancer, singer and actor. I’ve been dancing and singing since I was seven years old. I started studying dance with the Washington Ballet and performed in numerous productions over the years. Each fall for six years, I would appear in their production of “The Nutcracker” at the Warner Theater, often performing several different roles across more than twenty shows each season! It was a tremendous amount of preparation and work but I loved every minute of it! 

 

At 12, I moved to Seber Method Academy, under the direction of founder, Lilla Seber. There I expanded my repertoire to include contemporary and jazz dance, as well as tap, hip hop and Bollywood. I now concentrate on contemporary dance and jazz dance and ballet. 

 

During that time, I danced a duet performance of “Footloose” at my 8th grade graduation in 2021, a solo performance of “Waving Through a Window” for my 2022 Seber Winter Concert and a solo/duet performance of “Standing Next to You” for my 2024 Seber Spring Concert. 

 

On the musical theater side, I also began appearing in my middle and high school musical productions, and as well as attending French Woods Performing Arts Academy and Interlochen Musical Theater Camp during the summers. I appeared in lead or significant roles in “Anything Goes”, Once on This Island”, “Beauty and The Beast”, “Cabaret”, “Edges”, “Heathers”, “Alice By Heart”, and a duet performance of “Two Lost Souls” from "Damn Yankees. 

 

In college, I hope to pursue a degree in musical theater, which is my passion. I cannot wait to see where my talent and desire take me next!
